I’ve been following the Alvin “Lil Mark” Johnson case, and something that stands out to me is the courage it must have taken for a young guy like him to maneuver through life, especially being so deeply involved in football. I read that he was an offensive lineman at Harper Woods High School, and it’s clear that his teammates and coaches thought the world of him. It’s just tragic how these senseless acts of violence end the dreams and futures of young people who have so much potential. I’m wondering if there are any initiatives in Michigan aimed at channeling youths’ energy into sports and away from violence. Maybe community support like that could prevent more tragedies. Sending love to Alvin’s family and community; they deserve answers and justice for his loss. If anyone in the area noticed the cars on I-94 that day, please share any info with the authorities. Doing so could be key in helping his loved ones find some peace.
