Just came across this terrible story, and my heart goes out to the Sadler family and friends. It's so hard to grasp the magnitude of loss and pain they must be enduring right now. I wanted to talk about how often signs get missed in situations like these. Neighbors described Leroy as a "doomsday prepper," and it makes me wonder if there were red flags or indications that something was amiss before this tragedy unfolded. Sometimes the warning signs are subtle, and it's easy to overlook them, especially if you're close to the person. Does anyone know if there was any contact with mental health services or anything of the sort? Could early intervention have possibly changed the course of events? It's extremely sad when it gets to the point where lives are lost, and I keep thinking about how important it is to stay vigilant and not dismiss behavior that seems off. My heart truly hurts for the family who should have been looking forward to spending many more years together.
