I've been following the case of Simeon Watson and the other two young lives lost in the tragic event in Shively, and one thing that's been on my mind is the impact this must have had on the local community near Butler Traditional High School. It's a shock to the system when violence like this hits so close to home.
I can't imagine how Simeon’s friends and neighbors are coping with such a loss. For a young man who served in the U.S. Army and gave back to his country, coming back home should be a time of peace, not one overshadowed by such violence. It’s a reminder of how fragile life can be and how quickly things can go from normal to devastating.
Praying that the police can find some answers soon. This community deserves to know that justice will be served for Simeon, Mia, and Sabrie. If anyone knows anything, please reach out to the authorities—every bit of information can make a difference in solving this. Keeping all their loved ones in my thoughts.
Does anyone have more information on the community's response around Crums Lane and Butler Traditional High School following the tragic loss of Simeon, Mia, and Sabrie? I heard there was a vigil held recently, but I wasn't able to attend. I can't stop thinking about how these young lives were taken so senselessly. It seems like the whole neighborhood is reeling from this, and I hope that people come forward with any information they might have. It really hits hard when you realize they were just starting out in life, and from what I've read, Simeon was so admired. Keeping their families in my thoughts—this must be such a difficult time for them. If anyone has updates on how the community is supporting the families or any upcoming events, please share.
