I've been following the developments in Tyeisha Colley's case, and something about it just hits hard. She was more than a teacher at Salem High School; she was a pillar for so many. I'm particularly moved by how she had adopted three children in addition to having one of her own. It speaks volumes about her character and how much love she had to give. It must be incredibly difficult for her family to lose someone so central and nurturing, especially on a day meant for joy and togetherness. And while nothing will bring her back, I hope the community continues to rally around Tyeisha’s family. Her husband, Jermaul, and their children need all the support they can get to navigate this unimaginable time. Let's keep them in our thoughts and contribute in any way we can, even if it's just sharing the GoFundMe to give them one less thing to worry about. My thoughts are with all those affected by this terrible event.
