It's really baffling and sad how a community can be shaken by such a senseless act of violence. Reading about James Stroud Sr.—a man who worked hard his whole life only to meet such an unjust end—is incredibly upsetting. It’s even more puzzling that he wasn’t in his usual part of town when this happened. Has anyone heard any updates on why he might have been in that area? His son mentioned he planned to go to the bank—is it possible this was something related to that? Could it have been a random act, or maybe mistaken identity? My heart truly goes out to his family and neighbors who are living in fear and confusion right now. I hope the community comes together to support them, and I genuinely hope someone who knows something has the courage to speak up.
