I’ve been following the Pasanbegovic sisters’ case and something that keeps troubling me is the factory closure. I understand they both lost their jobs, which likely put them in a desperate situation. But does anyone know why the factory closed down so suddenly? I wonder if there were others in the community suddenly out of work, despairing, and vulnerable like Amela and Dzaneta. It’s so unsettling to think about how easily circumstances can push people into danger. If anyone has more details on that part of their lives, it could help paint a clearer picture of their circumstances leading up to their tragic encounter with Runge.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Amela Pasanbegovic case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the relationship between Amela and her sister, Dzaneta. Having fled the horrors of war together, they must have had an incredibly tight bond. It's tragic to think that after everything they survived, their lives ended in such a brutal way far from home. I've also been wondering about the challenges they faced adjusting to life in the U.S., especially after losing their jobs. It makes you realize how vulnerable they must have felt, which unfortunately put them in a position to accept a seemingly benign offer from Paul Runge. Does anyone else think that their immigrant status might have made them more isolated and susceptible to someone like him? I hope that new leads can surface despite all these years, and if anyone has more details about their lives in the U.S. before they went missing, it could piece together more of their story. Every bit helps. Thoughts? - TrueCrimeChaser92

Hi everyone, I've been reading through the threads on Amela Pasanbegovic's case and found something curious: does anyone else think it's strange how their case is still listed as a missing persons case even after Runge's confession? I mean, with everything else that's come out about him, you'd think it might close that chapter. I wonder if the police are keeping it open just in case any new evidence or witness testimony comes to light that could give the families some closure. It must be incredibly difficult for Amela and Dzaneta's loved ones not having a definitive answer. Does anyone know if there have been any recent efforts to search for remains or any new leads? Maybe there's still hope that more information will surface one day.
