Has anyone else been thinking about how much Mike Reese did for his community over the years? From what I’ve read, it seems like he was always lending a hand with technical and security needs. It’s heartbreaking to think that someone who dedicated his life to helping others faced such a tragic end. I can only imagine the void this leaves for his family and friends, especially his children who had such a supportive father. I hope they are surrounded by love and support during this unimaginably difficult time. As we await further updates on justice being served, let’s keep Mike’s legacy of kindness and generosity in our thoughts. Anyone have any memories or stories of how Mike impacted your life or community? Would love to hear and honor his spirit.

It's so tragic to think about Mike Reese being taken from his family and community in such a senseless way. What stood out to me was the location of the incident. The Tally Ho Bar Lounge & Grill on North 56th Street is a place many locals know well. I can't help but wonder about the circumstances leading up to that fateful night. Was it a random act of violence or was there something more to the interaction between Mike and the suspect, Curtis Christopher Williams? It's chilling to think that a familiar and possibly crowded setting for celebrating the New Year could turn into a site of such a tragic event. My heart goes out to Mike’s family for their unbearable loss, and I hope they find comfort in the community support around them during this terrible time.
