It's really touching to see how the Lakeport community has come together to remember Vicente Colacion. The candlelight vigil at Library Park and the gathering at the Middletown Arts Center speak volumes about the kind of person he must have been. These events not only honor Vicente's memory but also highlight the community's desire for healing and unity in the face of such a terrible tragedy. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his friends and family are going through right now. It's crucial that we continue to support them and encourage anyone with information to speak up, so justice can be served. Seeing local leaders take the time to honor Vicente during the board meeting also reinforces the urgency and importance of addressing violence in our communities. Sending strength to everyone affected, and hoping for some clarity and peace as the investigation unfolds.
