Has anyone looked into weather conditions back on July 6, 1996, around the Lukeville, AZ area? It's been years, but sometimes extreme weather can create unexpected hazards, especially in the desert with flash floods or high heat. I haven't seen it mentioned much in discussions yet, and considering Vicente and Julian were on foot, environmental factors might have played a role. Not sure if it's been ruled out, but it could be a piece of the puzzle. Thoughts?

I was recently reading about Vicente and Julian Quinonez's case, and something struck me as odd. Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions around Lukeville on July 6, 1996? I checked some old records, and it seems like there might have been an unusual storm in the area that weekend. Could bad weather have played a role in their disappearance? Does anyone have more details on local conditions or border closures around that time? Just curious if this could be a missing piece of the puzzle.

Hi everyone, I came across a peculiar detail in the Vicente Quinonez case that might be worth discussing. Has anyone looked into the environmental conditions around Lukeville in July 1996? Crossing the border around that time means they were traveling in extreme heat, which can be really dangerous. I’m wondering if Vincent and Julian might have faced any issues related to the temperature or if that area has any history of travelers going missing due to the harsh climate. Could the weather have played a role in their disappearance? Would love to hear any insights from people familiar with that region or anyone who has looked into similar cases.
