I came across the case of Davin Pointer, and it really shook me. It's been over a decade since he was killed, and there's still no resolution for his family. What's particularly troubling is the larger context of unsolved cases in Omaha. It feels like there's a pattern of families left in limbo, yearning for answers that may never come. I can’t imagine the pain of not having closure. The trauma must linger on not just for the Pointers, but for so many others facing similar unknowns. I wonder if there’s any local community effort or advocacy group pushing for more resources to tackle these cold cases? If anyone knows, it would be great to spread that info here. Even though time has passed, Davin’s story shouldn’t be forgotten.

I've been following Davin Pointer's case for a while now, and something that really stands out to me is how young he was—just 23 years old, with so much life ahead of him. It’s incredibly frustrating that after all this time, his family still doesn’t have the answers they deserve. It makes me think about others in similar situations and how their lives have been put on hold because they don’t know what happened to their loved ones.
It’s already daunting for the families to deal with such a loss, but having no closure is just unimaginable. It seems like every few months, there’s a glimmer of hope for new leads, but nothing sticks.
