I've been following the case of Paul Emigdio Olivares and Lorraine Reyna, and I can't stop thinking about the bravery it must take for their families to face each new day without them. It really struck me today when I drove past the Portside Pub. It's still hard to imagine such a tragic event took place there.
What really stands out to me about Paul is his family's request to plant trees in his honor. It’s such a meaningful tribute. In a way, it seems fitting—trees represent life, growth, and strength, all qualities that, from what I've read, Paul embodied. I’m keeping his family in my thoughts and hope that they can find some comfort in nurturing his legacy through this beautiful gesture.
Does anyone have updates on the investigation? Still praying that there will be justice for Paul and Lorraine.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Paul Emigdio Olivares, and I wanted to share a bit about the memorial gathering set for April 12th at Hillside Funeral Home. The family has come up with such a meaningful way to honor Paul by suggesting donations be made to plant trees in his memory. It's a beautiful tribute that aligns with the values Paul embodied, as he was always supportive and gave so much to others around him. The idea of growing something lasting and vibrant truly reflects the impact he had on those who knew him.
It's just heartbreaking to think about the family's immense loss and how the community is coming together during this time. I really hope the trees planted in his honor provide some semblance of peace and solace to his loved ones. The fact that the investigation is still ongoing leaves so many questions unanswered, but at least we can hold onto the positive memory of his contributions to the world. If anyone is local or planning to attend, maybe we can gather to show support. Sending love and strength to Paul's family and friends.
