I recently came across Reesee Lamont Johns' case, and while the details are sparse, something that really sticks with me is the scene of the crime. It happened near the 300 block of South San Joaquin Street. For those in the area, does anyone know if this spot is known for violence? Was there a history of incidents there, or was this completely unexpected for the neighborhood? I can only imagine what his family and friends are going through right now, not having any answers. It must be incredibly difficult not knowing the "why" behind this tragedy. I hope the investigation progresses and brings them some semblance of peace. The Stockton community deserves safety and to see resolved cases like this. If anyone has insight into the area or the case, please share. Every little bit helps when trying to piece together what might have happened here.
