I'm really shaken by the recent shooting of Mario Jaime in Gage Park. My thoughts are with his family and friends who are going through an incredibly tough time right now. It's unsettling to think that something like this can happen in what should be the comfort of your own neighborhood. I can't help but wonder about the investigation process and why there haven't been any arrests yet. With the amount of drive-by shootings we've seen, I hope that local law enforcement gets the support they need to identify the culprits quickly. It feels like the community is stuck in a cycle of violence, and as much as people talk about change, we need actions that reflect that urgency. If anyone here has ideas on how we can push for more safety measures or community support, I'd be interested in hearing and discussing them. Let’s keep talking and pushing for solutions.
