Has anyone else noticed the eerie timing of the welfare check call and then the assault report? It's such a tight window, and it makes me wonder if someone nearby might have witnessed or heard something, especially given how quiet those early morning hours usually are. It's just unbelievably sad for the children involved, who were in the house at the time. Hopefully, they're getting all the support and care they need. Amie sounds like she was such a warm person, and I can't imagine what her family and friends are going through right now. If anyone who lives in the area heard anything unusual that night, it might really help the police piece together what truly happened.
Reflecting on this devastating situation, I can't stop thinking about the two young children who were in the home during such a traumatic event. It's unimaginable what they must be going through right now. I truly hope that they receive all the love and support they need in this incredibly difficult time. It's so sad to hear that Amie was remembered by those close to her as a compassionate and encouraging person. This loss must feel immense for her family and friends.
