Does anyone else feel just devastated for David Abarca's family? I can't stop thinking about his son, who now has to grow up without his dad. It's hard enough losing a parent, but in such a sudden and violent way? It's just so tragic. I read somewhere that he recently moved to Riverside to be closer to his son, which makes this even more difficult to process. I hope the community rallies behind them and supports them as much as they can. It's times like these we need to lean on each other and offer whatever we can, whether it's sharing the GoFundMe or just keeping them in our thoughts. Just wanted to express my feelings and see if anyone else feels the same way.
I was deeply saddened to read about the tragic loss of David Abarca. His dedication to his job and the fact that he was helping a coworker right before this happened speaks volumes about his character.
I’m hoping the Riverside Police Department can uncover more about why this random act occurred. It’s baffling and tragic, and I sincerely hope justice is served for David and his loved ones.
