I can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on Jesus's family and friends. It’s unimaginable what they’re going through right now. I read that his family held a viewing and rosary service for him, and I hope it brought them some comfort to see the outpouring of support from the community.
From what I can gather, the investigation is still underway, and it’s so frustrating that there’s been little news on any suspects. I can’t help but wonder if anyone in the area at the time of the incident saw or heard anything unusual. It’s usually the smallest details that can make a big difference. If anyone knows anything, no matter how insignificant it may seem, it could be crucial in piecing together what happened that night.
Let’s keep his family in our thoughts and spread the word to help get justice for Jesus.
Has anyone else heard about the vigil being organized in memory of Jesus Leal Peñuelas? I heard it's happening this weekend in Nampa. I didn't know him personally, but from what I've read, he was a genuinely loved person, and it's heartwarming to see the community come together like this. It must be so difficult for his family and friends right now, and I hope the vigil offers them some comfort and solidarity.
It's frustrating how slow these investigations can feel from the outside looking in, but hopefully, the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office will uncover the truth soon.
