Has anyone else heard about the strange explosion sound witnesses mentioned in the Schaller case? I’ve been diving deep into the various theories, and this detail keeps popping up in my mind. It was noted right after the disappearance, but I feel like it doesn't get the attention it might deserve. Is there any chance this sound could relate to something other than the assumed bird strike? Maybe a different kind of mechanical failure? Or could it even be some completely unanticipated factor that wasn't considered back then? I’m curious about anyone else’s thoughts on what might have really happened to Schaller and Rodriguez that day.

Has anyone else looked into the witness reports about the explosion in the sky? I find it puzzling that multiple people heard it, yet no one saw the plane or any debris. Could it be possible that the plane had already descended below the witness's line of sight before the explosion happened? Or maybe the sound was just carried further than the visibility due to weather conditions? Weather can do some strange things with sound, after all. I'm no expert, but it does make me wonder if that’s why the initial search didn’t pinpoint the location better. Possible insight or theories on this?
