I can't stop thinking about Patrick's children, Cerina and Elijah, in all of this. Losing a father at such a young age, especially in such a sudden and devastating manner, must be incredibly difficult for them. I hope they're surrounded by supportive family and friends during this time. I read somewhere that Patrick was drawn to the thrill and freedom of being on the open road, which makes this incident all the more tragic. To think that someone whose life was marked by adventure and exploration was taken away so abruptly is beyond comprehension. While the suspect is cooperating, I hope the authorities can piece together exactly what led to this unfortunate event. For the family, knowing the truth can be an essential step in finding some form of closure. My heart goes out to all who loved Patrick and are grappling with this immense loss.
