Hey everyone, there's something about Lorraine and Adan’s tragic story that I can't stop thinking about—their daughter. As a parent, this aspect just hits me hard. I can't imagine what she will go through as she grows up, knowing that both of her parents were taken in such a senseless way. It's just beyond comprehension. They seemed like such a devoted family, and I heard they had taken their little one trick-or-treating earlier in the evening. It’s heartbreaking to think that such a joyous occasion became one of their last memories together. It's hard not to feel for the family who must now step in to raise her and explain all of this to her one day. I really hope that in the midst of their grief, Lorraine and Adan's family receive the support they need—not just from friends and family, but also from the community. The upcoming days and years will be so difficult for them. If anyone hears of any ways to help, especially programs or funds set up for their daughter, please share. Thinking of their little girl during this time, hoping she feels surrounded by love despite this unimaginable loss.
