Does anyone else feel frustrated by how many cold cases there are in Omaha? Johnnie L. Haynes’ tragic murder really highlights the gaps in solving these cases. It's so hard to imagine how his family feels knowing there's been no justice after all these years. I wonder if there's more that can be done to encourage witnesses to come forward. Maybe community outreach programs could help, or even leveraging social media better to spread awareness? Just feels like this shouldn’t be as common as it is... Sending thoughts and strength to his family.
