Has anyone else been thinking about the neighborhood dynamics around Astrozon Boulevard where Julian Vigil was shot? It's such a busy area with lots of foot traffic, especially given the shopping plaza nearby. I wonder if the increase in homicides in Colorado Springs this year is connected to changes in the area or if it's just a coincidence. Julian seemed like such a kind-hearted person, helping the homeless – it just makes his death all the more tragic. It's hard to believe he was gone just days before he was about to make things official with his partner. Truly feels like a huge injustice to have lost someone who was making such a positive impact on his community. If anyone has more local insights or similar concerns, please share. Maybe together, we can paint a clearer picture of what led to that awful night.
