Has anyone else been thinking about how absolutely tragic it is for the children in this situation? I can't imagine the trauma they're going through, losing a parent in such a violent way and then having the other parent accused of committing the act. My heart truly goes out to them and the family. How can anyone grapple with this level of devastation and still move forward in their lives? I keep thinking about Modie's vibrant personality and how her presence was described by those who loved her. It must be an enormous loss for the community, not just her family. She was taken away so senselessly. It’s frustrating to see another instance where domestic violence leads to such a tragic end. I just hope that by discussing what happened, some awareness can be raised to somehow prevent these awful situations in the future. Does anybody know if there's been any community support or resources offered for the children? That kind of help could be crucial for their healing process.
