This case is so disturbing and utterly tragic, especially considering Tanner Garrod's love for life and the incredible art he created from wine and whiskey barrels. It's so difficult to grasp how someone with such a creative spirit and zest for the outdoors could be lost in such a violent way. I keep wondering about the location—211th Ave and Morning Vista Drive. Does anyone know if there's been prior trouble in that area? It might offer some context to why things escalated so badly. Thoughts go out to Tanner’s family during this difficult time. It's hard to imagine what his wife, Candice, and stepson, Micah, must be going through right now. I hope they find some sense of peace and justice as the investigation unfolds.
