Hi everyone, I've been following the case of Jose Fragosa who vanished over two decades ago, and something that's been on my mind is the role that advancements in technology might play in solving cases like his. With so many improvements in forensic science since 2000, I wonder if there are any new tools or methods that investigators could use to revisit the evidence—or perhaps uncover something that was previously overlooked? DNA techniques, digital forensics, and even social media weren't as advanced back then. Does anyone know if there's a protocol for re-examining old evidence with new tech, or if the community can push for that somehow? Curious to hear your thoughts.
