I've been following the case of Hernandez Harmon, and my thoughts are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. One thing that stands out to me is the distance between his murder scene in Phenix City, Alabama, and where the suspects were found in Columbus, Georgia. It's just about a 14-minute drive—so close yet across state lines. This seemed to complicate the investigation, as authorities from different jurisdictions had to quickly coordinate efforts. I wonder how often cross-state jurisdiction issues affect investigations like this. Kudos to the law enforcement agencies for working together so efficiently to get those suspects in custody. It can't undo the loss for Hernadez's loved ones, but I hope it brings some sense of justice and closure eventually. Anyone else have thoughts or insights about how these cross-jurisdiction investigations usually pan out?
