Has anyone else read about the proposed "Taylor's Law"? I think the idea of implementing protective barriers for clerks in stores like Circle K is a step in the right direction. It's unimaginable what Taylor's family is going through, and maybe initiatives like this could prevent another tragedy. I imagine being at the forefront of a conversation about safety is the last thing her loved ones expected to be doing. It’s a painful way to bring about change, but Taylor’s story highlights such an important issue. Has anyone else heard specifics on how this law might be structured or what other safety measures it could include?

I've been thinking a lot about the proposed "Taylor's Law" that has been discussed in the wake of this senseless tragedy. It's gut-wrenching to know that Taylor was just at work, doing her job, and something like this could happen. I work retail too, and honestly, the thought of something like this happening always lingers in the back of my mind. It's such a shame it takes a tragedy to prompt changes, but I really hope this law gets the backing it needs. I’ve seen some stores that already have protective barriers in place, and even though it’s a small step, it makes a huge difference in how safe employees feel. My heart goes out to William, Elijah, and everyone who knew and loved Taylor. Hoping for justice and change, so no other family has to go through this.
