Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Terrell Loyd’s case recently. It’s so frustrating and sad to see how little information has come out over the years. I keep going over the details and wonder about the potential evidence that might be there but hasn’t connected the dots yet. Given how technology is evolving, you'd hope that there's hope for new breakthroughs even in cases that feel completely stalled like this one. I came across some articles that mentioned advances in DNA technology and how they've helped solve cold cases. Does anyone know if Omaha PD is using newer techniques to revisit older cases? Even small breakthroughs could mean so much to Terrell's family, knowing there’s at least some movement towards finding who’s responsible. It’s just got to be so tough, living with such an open-ended nightmare year after year without knowing what really happened or why. Would love to hear thoughts or insights into how ongoing investigations in unsolved cases like this are typically handled.
