Just stumbled across Jacquelyn Markham’s case, and it sent shivers down my spine! I can't get over the detail about her dog being left behind. For anyone who’s had a pet, it seems unthinkable to just leave them unexpectedly. It makes me wonder about the urgency of the situation when that male acquaintance showed up. Did anyone ever look into any connections that guy might have had with Ross Lane Emerson or anyone else in the area? Seems suspicious that her bag was found so far away, as if someone wanted to muddy the trail. Even with Emerson gone, I hope the investigators keep digging. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
