Have any of you looked into the background of Teresa Afdhal in this case? I'm curious about what her life was like before she got involved with John Martini. It's hard to imagine how someone could get roped into such a tragic series of events. Was she under some sort of influence or control, or did she have her own motivations? It's just heartbreaking to see how decisions spiraled into such a catastrophic situation. I keep thinking about Irving Flax and his family—they must have been through such a terrible ordeal. It just goes to show how important it is to really understand what leads people to commit such horrible crimes, both for prevention and to help bring closure to the victims’ families. If anyone has more info or insights, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
