I've been following the Nancy Harrison case and something that really stood out to me was how the authorities initially suspected an overdose due to the condition of her body. It makes me wonder how many cases might initially be ruled out as overdoses when there's more lurking beneath the surface. It’s so infuriating to think that her murder could have been misclassified, and it just underscores the importance of thorough investigations from the get-go. I can only imagine the rollercoaster of emotions her family must have gone through, thinking it was one thing and then discovering the brutal truth. It breaks my heart to know that Nancy’s family had to endure such prolonged uncertainty before getting answers. I hope her case serves as a catalyst for more rigorous investigation practices, so families don’t have to struggle with doubts and delayed justice. Sending much love to those who knew her—she deserved so much better.
