Has anyone else been intrigued by the weather conditions around the time Eric Timberlake went missing? I read that there was significant snowfall around South Mountain Golf Course when his body was found. It makes me wonder how—if at all—this played into what happened. Unless Eric was really familiar with the area, it's puzzling why he'd be out there in such challenging weather.
I've been trying to map out possible routes he might have taken from Salt Lake City to Draper, and if he'd even know about such an isolated area. His choice to go there seems strange, especially given the tough terrain after heavy snow. Was this maybe a place he frequented for some reason? For anyone local, were the trails popular for certain activities during winter, despite being largely inaccessible?
My thoughts are with Eric's friends and family who are undoubtedly going through a confusing and painful time. Trying to piece together these details could hopefully shed some light and maybe bring some peace.

Why would Eric end up in a remote, snow-covered area near the South Mountain Golf Course, especially during that time of year? It's not exactly an easy trek, especially with all the snowfall making trails inaccessible. Was he meeting someone there? Did he go voluntarily, or was he taken there?
It's perplexing to think about Eric in those final days, seemingly disconnected from his known routine and ending up miles away from his home in Salt Lake City. I can't help but wonder if someone has more information about his movements around that time. Perhaps locals or anyone who might have seen him or knew why he was in Draper could come forward?
