Has anyone read into why George Fisher wasn't reported missing until 2006 despite disappearing in 2002? I find it puzzling and a bit concerning. In cases like this, a delay can be pretty detrimental to figuring out what happened. And if foul play is involved, as suspected given the circumstances, the delay could mean that whoever is responsible had a lot of time to cover their tracks. It’s also curious that there wasn’t an immediate alarm from his family or friends. I know strained relationships can lead to people being out of touch, but four years is quite a long time. Does anyone have insights on his family dynamics or what kind of recent contact people had with him before he went missing? Could this gap somehow connect to why authorities believe something nefarious happened? Maybe I'm just grasping at straws, but this part of the case really sticks with me.
