Just came across Ruby Dean Lane's case, and I can't stop thinking about her family and friends after all these years. The fact that it took 14 years just to identify her remains is unimaginable. It makes you wonder how many other families are waiting for answers like this. It's disturbing how someone like Samuel Little was able to move around so freely and commit so many horrendous acts for years before getting caught. Hearing about his stay at the Skylark Motel in Perry sends chills down my spine, knowing what he was capable of. I hope that solving this case brings some semblance of peace to Ruby Dean's loved ones, though I can't imagine the pain they've endured.
