I came across Dorothy Richards' case recently, and it's both relieving and deeply unsettling to hear about the connection to Samuel Little. What struck me most was how her body was found in the sugarcane field near that church. It's so tragic that a place which held sentimental value for her family became part of such a horrific tale. It's almost as if the killer had no regard for the sacredness or the memories tied to that spot. It's hard to fathom the kind of person who would commit such an act. I hope her family has found some peace knowing the truth, though I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to reopen those wounds after all those years. Thinking of them and sending strength their way.
