Did anyone else follow Deborah McCall's case over the years? It's both a relief and incredibly sad to finally get some answers. I remember seeing her disappearance mentioned in the local news when I was younger and always wondering what happened to her. I'm still stunned that Bruce Lindahl was involved. To think he was roaming free back then, causing so much pain, is chilling. The fact that DNA technology could finally bring Deborah's family some closure is truly amazing. It makes me wonder how many other cold cases might be solved with these new techniques. My heart goes out to the McCall family and all those in Downers Grove who have been waiting so long for answers.

Does anyone have more information about Bruce Lindahl's movements around Downers Grove in the late '70s? It's chilling to think about how many lives he might have affected without anyone realizing at the time. I can't stop thinking about the students who were at the same high school as Deborah McCall and must have been so scared upon hearing these revelations. It's haunting to think that someone so dangerous was operating in that community, right under everyone's noses. I'm relieved that the advancements in DNA technology finally gave her family some answers, but it's devastating to think about how many years they spent in uncertainty. Anyone else keeping an eye on how law enforcement is utilizing these new forensic tools to bring justice? It's bittersweet, but cases like Deborah's give me hope that other families might find closure too.
