It's truly awful to think about what Rod and his loved ones went through during this nightmare. Something that sticks with me about this case is how Rod was last seen at Likens' apartment. It's chilling to think that a supposedly ordinary visit ended in such a horrific tragedy. That kind of betrayal is unimaginable. I'm sure Rod's friends and family must have gone through unimaginable pain, trying to piece together how things went so wrong. It also makes me question how many others unknowingly crossed paths with Likens without knowing his dark side. I hope that at the very least, this case serves as a reminder to always remain vigilant. My thoughts are with Rod's family and those still seeking answers.
