Does anybody have more details on Rose Winstel's case? I can't stop thinking about how immensely traumatic it must have been for her nephew, Robert, to discover what happened to her. It's hard to comprehend the fear and anxiety this series of murders caused, not just for the victims' families but for the entire community. Breaking into her home like that showed just how bold and dangerous this killer was. The fact that nothing seems to have been taken from her apartment makes it even more disturbing. It’s almost like the killer thrived on the terror itself. How are the families coping with all this now? It must be such a difficult legacy to deal with, even after all these years. My thoughts go out to everyone who had to endure this.

I've been thinking a lot about Rose Winstel and her tragic end. It's just so unsettling to think that someone could force their way into the home of an elderly woman, a place that should have been her refuge, and commit such a heinous act. The killer breaking the chain lock shows a level of desperation and determination that's truly chilling. It's important to remember the real people behind these stories and the constant fear they must have lived in. My heart goes out to Rose’s nephew, Robert, who found her in such a devastating circumstance. I can’t even begin to imagine what it was like for him and how it might have shaped his life thereafter. It’s a grim reminder of just how vulnerable our older family members can be when faced with such evil. I hope we continue to learn from these cases to better protect our loved ones and communities.
