Has anyone else been looking into the timeline of events on the day of Mary Michelle Fleming's murder? I’m just trying to get a clearer picture of what happened that day. From what I've gathered, she somehow managed to make it from her apartment to a neighbor's house after being attacked. It’s unimaginable what she must have endured in those final moments, trying to escape and get help. It's also so disturbing to think that Anthony Joe LaRette Jr. could have been out there committing similar crimes before being caught. I really hope sharing stories and discussing timelines can help us all better understand the impacts of these awful events and remember the victims like Mary, beyond the tragic circumstances of their deaths. Anyone with more insights on this or the neighborhood she lived in? Would love to hear your thoughts.
Does anyone else find it incredibly alarming how Anthony Joe LaRette Jr. managed to evade capture for so long before Mary's tragic murder? It's unsettling to think about all the missed opportunities to catch him sooner, potentially preventing this and other horrific crimes. From what I've gathered, he had a history of violence that seemed to fly under the radar. My heart goes out to Mary's family and the families of all the other victims. It must be so painful to know that someone so dangerous was operating for years. I hope cases like these can teach us something about the importance of tracking violent offenders across state lines. What do you guys think could have been done differently back then, given the resources and technology available during the 1980s?
