It's really disturbing to think about the way Sean Lannon manipulated and preyed upon the people around him. Plenty of reports have highlighted how he lured his victims in New Mexico, but I can't help wondering about what kind of person he was in his everyday life that allowed him to hide such monstrous actions. Did he have jobs, friends, or neighbors who never suspected anything, or were there signs that everyone just missed? It’s a chilling reminder of how someone who appears normal can live a double life. My heart goes out to the families affected—I can't even begin to imagine the shock and devastation they must still be experiencing as they try to piece things together. It's a grim situation all around, and it makes one question how we perceive and trust people.
