Just finished reading more about the courageous actions of the McDonough family during that terrifying night in 2007. It's incredible to think about the presence of mind and bravery it took for Lisa's father, Kevin, to confront Lane, especially when faced with such a dangerous situation. I can only imagine the fear they all must have felt, but their quick actions and teamwork ultimately brought an end to Lane's terrible spree. It's these moments of heroism that often go unnoticed amidst the chaos. I deeply respect how the family reacted under pressure and how their ability to work together saved not only their lives but potentially many others. It's a stark reminder of the importance of awareness and readiness, even when we're in our own homes. Has anyone else come across similar situations where people have managed to stop something so sinister through sheer courage and quick thinking? I'd love to hear more about those unsung heroes.
