I’ve been digging into Robert Prongay's case for quite some time, and one aspect that fascinates me is the role of his ice cream truck. It's unnerving to think that such a quintessential symbol of childhood could be used for surveillance and as a tool for crime. I've read that Prongay might have used the truck to track his targets and gather intel. If that's true, it would have been the perfect cover—who would suspect the ice cream man? It's a chilling reminder of how appearances can be deceiving. Prongay's truck must have been outfitted with some sophisticated equipment if he was keeping tabs on potential victims. Did law enforcement ever explore the possibility that he used his truck as more than just a cover? Also, the idea of using aerosol cyanide and remotely detonated grenades is terrifying. Prongay’s supposed expertise in such lethal methods adds another layer of suspicion and fear. This case really gets under my skin, especially considering his own family was targeted by his violent actions. My heart goes out to them. It's hard to imagine the horror and betrayal they must have felt. If anyone has more information on how his ice cream truck was thought to be used, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
