Hey everyone, I’ve been following Krystal Jean Baker's case for a while now, and I wanted to touch on something that doesn’t always get highlighted — the incredible patience and persistence of her family throughout the investigation. It’s truly commendable how her mother, Jeanie Escamilla, and the rest of the family kept pushing for justice for so many years. Can you imagine the strength it must take to hold onto hope for that long? I mean, it took 14 years before technology progressed enough to catch Krystal's murderer through DNA analysis. It's a bittersweet victory, I think. I'm grateful the family finally got some answers and justice, but it’s gut-wrenching to think of all the time that passed with so many questions hanging over them. I also wonder how this breakthrough could help with the other unsolved cases from that time. There are so many families still waiting for answers. It just highlights how crucial advancements in forensic science can be, right? I hope they can bring similar peace to more families out there. Sending thoughts to everyone affected by these cases. ? What do you guys think about the role of forensics in finally solving these cold cases? How do you think it will evolve to aid further investigations? Take care, everyone.
