I've been thinking a lot about the uncertainty surrounding Anita Scott's disappearance and how it affected her son during such a crucial time in his life. I'm hopeful he had a strong support system of friends and family to help him through it, even as they grappled with their own heartache. I can't help but wonder if this challenging time influenced his choice of school or career path. Did he pick a college close to home to stay near his dad in case there were updates? These sorts of human aspects often get overlooked when focusing solely on the facts of the case. My thoughts are with her family, especially her son, as they continue their journey to find the truth about what happened to Anita.
