Has anyone else looked into the parole and release issues related to Steven T. Judy's earlier crimes? I recently learned about his violent past, and it's shocking how someone with such a dangerous history was out on the streets to commit such a heinous act. He was first incarcerated for a brutal attack at just 13 years old and was even diagnosed as a sexual psychopath. Yet somehow, Judy was free to unleash unimaginable horror on Terry Chasteen and her beautiful children. It's so hard to wrap my head around how systems meant to protect the public failed so drastically. My heart goes out to the Chasteen family and the community that had to endure this tragedy. I can't imagine the pain they've had to live with. How can we do better to prevent this from happening again? Are there reforms in place now because of this case? Would love to hear thoughts on this.
