Has anyone else been following the updates on Sandra Jean Hopson's case? I recently revisited some old threads and can't stop thinking about her poor son. Can you imagine being just five years old and discovering something so horrific? It's truly unimaginable. I always wonder how things like this shape a person as they grow up. I hope he’s surrounded by love and support to help him navigate the trauma from that period of his life. That poor child, now adult, deserved so much better. While it's a relief that DNA technology eventually linked Johnson to the crime, my heart goes out to her family—especially her son—who had to live with so many unanswered questions for years. It makes you think about the importance of advancements in forensics and how many cold cases might one day find answers due to these innovations.
