I recently came across the case of Latanga Watts while digging into other Portland mysteries, and I can't stop thinking about her young children. Losing a mother in such a tragic way must be devastating. It's appalling to think that bureaucratic mishaps allowed Jackson to get a plea deal. Families deserve closure and justice, and it feels like they were robbed of it. Even though Jackson is gone now, I hope the authorities are actively pursuing any remaining leads. Watts, along with the other victims, deserves justice, and her story is a harsh reminder of how systemic failures can affect real lives. My thoughts go out to her loved ones as they continue to seek peace.
