I've been following Angela Anderson's case for quite some time, and I recently found myself reflecting on how the location where she was found might have impacted the investigation. For those who might not know, Angela was discovered in a vacant house on NE Going Street, which was probably an area not frequently patrolled or visited often back in 1983. It must have been incredibly challenging for investigators to gather evidence in such a neglected setting. The fact that she was missing for over two weeks before being found must have compounded the difficulty in piecing together her last days. I can't stop thinking about Angela's life in the foster system, too. Being so young and vulnerable, she deserved a safe and nurturing environment. It's just heart-wrenching to consider that her life was cut short in such a horrific way. A part of me hopes that the recent plea and acknowledgment of guilt by Homer Lee Jackson, despite the bizarre probation sentence, brought some solace to those who knew and loved Angela. They deserved closure for the loss they've carried all these years. Impressions of justice can be so complex, especially when it takes decades for a case to be resolved.

Hi everyone, I’ve been digging into the tragic case of Angela Anderson, and I can’t shake off the impact of her loss. It’s so devastating to think about what a bright future she could have had. One thing that stands out to me is the location where she was found – a vacant home. It makes me wonder how she ended up there and if there might have been any sightings or reports of activity around that area leading up to September 22, 1983. Has anyone come across old newspaper articles or heard recollections from locals that could shed light on the neighborhood during that time? Angela was so young and deserved to be safe and cared for. Thoughts are with her family and anyone who has been impacted by this senseless crime.
