Has anyone else looked into the connections between Joan Davis’s disappearance and other similar cases in Jacksonville during that time period? I was digging through some old newspapers and noticed a few other unsolved cases from the late '80s and early '90s that seemed eerily similar - women disappearing without a trace in similar circumstances. Could there be a link, or is it just a coincidence? I’m wondering if there were any known trends or patterns back then that might have been overlooked due to the high volume of cases. It’s just frustrating to see so many families left without answers. Would love to hear if anyone has any additional insights or info on this!
Hey all, I’ve been diving into Joan Davis’s case recently, and something struck me about the time period when she disappeared. It feels like Jacksonville in the early '90s was just overwhelmed with these kinds of cases. Does anyone have insights into how local law enforcement was handling these situations back then? I’ve read that the sheer volume of cases made it hard for them to focus on each one individually. Wondering if this might have hampered efforts to find Joan. Would love to hear thoughts or info from anyone familiar with the area or policing tactics from that time.
