Was anyone else surprised by the lack of security measures at Margaret and William Davis's home? It’s haunting to think that something as simple as an unlocked door could lead to such senseless violence. My heart goes out to their family, who must have replayed those "what if" scenarios countless times. While we can’t change what happened, I hope this case serves as a reminder to us all about the importance of home security. It's easy to become complacent in familiar environments, especially in smaller communities where folks feel safe. But unfortunately, reality can be harsh, and we need to remain vigilant to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Bless the Davis family. I hope they’ve found some peace over the years as they've tried to move forward.
