I recently came across an old newspaper clip while doing some family history research, and it mentioned Alice Pitezel. It's devastating how someone so young got caught up in Holmes' twisted world. I can’t imagine the fear and confusion Alice and her siblings must have experienced, thinking they were heading to see their mother but instead being used as pawns in Holmes' gruesome games. It's maddening that they just wanted to be with their family, and he preyed on that innocence. Has anyone else come across any personal accounts or letters from the Pitezel family? I'm curious about how they coped in the aftermath.
